Welcome to M.A.N. Up! Motorcycle and Powersports

Many off us entered the world of dirt bikes and street motorcycles on a Honda saddle. My first 2-wheel adventure began with a home built dirt-scrambler.  A very resourceful pre-teen parts scavenger,  I combined a Honda 90  Trail frame with a 65 C.C. engine salvaged from a wrecked Honda 60 Dream.  At 12 years old or so, I began a life-time motorcycle, desert enduro, dirt track, G.T. and road bike obsession that's lasted the better part of 5-decades.

My first street legal motorcycle was the 300 dream pictured above, followed by a Honda 250 scrambler, B.S.A. lightening, BMW R-7, Triumph 650, Honda 900 CB, 900 CB Sport, 1100 Gold Wing, 1300 Goldwing, Harley Davidson FXR Shovel Head, 80 inch FXRT Classic Electra glide,  S&S 103 C.I. Custom Chrome Bagger, S.S. powered Titan Chopper, Buel S.T. 1100 sport,  Suzuki, Yamaha, Bombardia, and yes, even  a Vespa or two, with a Bull Taco thrown in for good measure.  I report on car , SUV and truck developement for my lively hood. But motorcycles, quads and side by sides are my passion.  Please join me for the latest news in motorcycle development, with a human interest story or two provided by you, the viewer.
